    Here's what I believe -CI do not hurt deaf culture, it's just the evolution of deaf culture. Deaf culture will only grow stronger with change, CI's are not a fix and do not even mask a persons deafness. It is obvious and people with CI's will definitely feel will comfortable around others...

    The paper was not that great, I agree, but it had one interesting point, which was that preferential hearing during development helps determine what handedness you are. It is a hard topic to study but, who knows what things can be revealed upon closer examinations.....
