I rechecked the iPFG software I do have, yes, you have to "group" the iCom (with serial #) to your aids in order for them to connect properly, it can be accessed by the End Fitting-Final/Save portion of the software......

Yes, the iCom needs to be added and activated to connect to the aids via the iPFG software that the audi uses to configure your aids....

I feel for you!! I had one of my FM receivers returned to shop for repair/ replace, that stopped me from having my FM glitch taken care of.....hopefully I'll have it fixed in a week or so...

Well, I didn't get too far with getting my FM adjusted today by Phonak.....the right FM receiver all of a sudden decided not to work...so that became the issue and I now have to wait for Phonak to repair/replace it and send it back....then I have to deal with wondering why the beeps are...

Nope.....the Smartlink SX is extremely expensive if you are going to buy it, but if you can get a government agency to get it for free, then go for it!! The Smartlink SX may be FM, but it also has bluetooth capability. It also has a removeable lanyard if you do need to carry it on your neck...

Are you planning to have both? I have used the Smartlink SX and it works great in certain circumstances ( group of people in crowded restaurant, meeting with 20 people, etc.....) I didn't like the iCom because of having to carry it on my neck all the time....the Smartlink is in a cell phone...

Wendy, You said the power isn't there? What aid do you have? I have the Naida V UP which has the highest power that Phonak carries. My loss is ski slope from 90 dB to 120 dB....and I have plenty of power.....

You might have the Windblock feature set too high.......I would lower it to moderate and select "maintain audibility" so the Windblock won't take away all your hearing. You will have to find a middle ground that is most comfortable to you. If you read the prior chat regarding the iPFG...
