    Yeah its one hand - as far i know the alphabet is almost identical, only a couple letters different, F and K and and Q I think...but Northern Ireland since its UK would use the BSL which is two hand!

    Thanks for all the welcomes! Do I cut and paste to put bits of other posts to reply to a question- how do get that box effect? Anyway im in wicklow, lovely green and foresty.. Hmm I don't know alot of signs yet (beginner!) but I like the sign for sorry - circle palm clockwise at the heart..nice!

    Whos over 30 and still loves watching cartoons?

    Having kids r a good excuse to get to watch all the cartoons! Nice to see this generation of kids likes the oldies-tom n jerry, bugs bunny as well as the new ones like sponge bob and ren n stimpy! :)

    Hi I'm hearing, have always loved the beauty of sign language and finally completed a beginners course in ISL last year- having to wait till Sept to do the next level, they don't make it easy here! I'd be very interested in learning ASL if I ever get back to the US- it seems COMPLETELY different...
