Their domain, www.vpcorder.com expired. So I assumed it is no longer advertised. Where do you get the idea that they're still in business. I have not seen their adv for a long time.

I believe FCC does not pay a penny for VP or router at all. Just pay the minutes VRS use when communicating with the VP users and hearing people. All VRS have to pay out of pocket that they can write off tax on them. I am not 100 percent certain on that but I believe I heard right.

Schools always pay at the minimum so it is a simple money talk.

All VRS are the same as they must follow the FCC regulations. So it does not matter to me. So what!! Only I choose Sorenson is its video quality and excellant features like MISSED CALLS and REDAIL. Dlink doe not have that.

Really... What are the improvements since Day 1 ? Since Nov, 2004, I have both VPs from Dlink (Sprint) and Sorenson. I got two upgrades on Sorenson, none on Dlink. Let me check tonite to see what version on both and will be back to you tomorrow. I know Sorenson VP will show the version number...

I am sorry to tell you that you are a kind of behind in the Technology era.... Japan deaf people and Sweden deaf people are enjoying their cells that includes VP.

I doubt it... It is not a update thing. Maybe, It will be a different equipment or hardware. You can not get a hardware update via download. If just a software update, then it would be a different version number. So VP 200 sounds like a hardware "version" and it would be like VP 200 version 1.0...

Interesting to see AT&T is selling Dlink VP and TV, not giving away like others. What a Cheapstake ! Will AT&T VRS survive? I think not.

Oh you are right about Sorenson VP but it is more deaf friendly than Dlink VP. Still Sorenson tops all and once more there will be more new features coming. Dlink VP may be always the same and maybe will be discontinued. I said "maybe" because there is no improvement on Dlink VP since DAY ONE.
