The hall director is wrong. She is responsible for all her students living on her floor. All rooms must be emptied. All rooms must be checked. You need to tell the dean what she said because she is not doing her job well. another thing is, the school should offer you protection becuase it is...

Are Most Deaf In the USA On SSI? I don't think that is true.

We do what we must do to be sure that others are safe. This sometimes takes courage. It is not wrong nor is it right, but it is courage. Sometimes a man of courage has to do what others will not see as the right thing to do. Everyone needs to be healed. Weather or not one believes in it.

Are Most Deaf In the USA On SSI? I don't think that is true.

It's not that simple anymore. The government needs a way to save money in order to help pay back their dues. Perhaps if they did not owe so much your idea would work, but not as of now. Your idea would only send us into a deeper problems. Plus, if you ask me, Obama's idea is better than what...

What?? The Dr. do not benefit from the Obamacare. Where have you been? Insurance companies are pissed. They don't want the Obamacare plan because they will make less. If they make less, then Dr. will make less; however, in a sense they may make more, but not benefit from it. With everyone able...

Are Most Deaf In the USA On SSI? I don't think that is true.

Well you have NTID, Buffalo school for the deaf and you have RSD. Anyone of legal age is counted for... I am not saying that you are wrong or right, but I am saying that the percentage is a bit crooked. Also, many teenagers are on SSI while they are in highschool due to parents. My mom had me...

I myself am a worker and I work for a living, but sadly I have friends who are on SSI. They are damn well capable of working. I have low funcation friends and almost all of them have jobs. I never thought about this until now. It truly is very sad and very depressing.:sadwave:

I agree, there is no way unless your only counting low functioning people who are deaf, but leaving just plain deaf folks out of it.

Hold your horses! A 10 Percent is a big number for deaf people. How positive are you that this percent does not count for the college students at NTID? Most of them move away back to their real homes after graduating. So how sure are you?

    Armed Forces for the Deaf?

Deaf can't join the military, but a person who loses his hearing while in the military will often be kept in the military to perform behind the desk jobs. There are groups of deaf communities fighting for their day in the military, but thats another story. Here is a proof. Go to this site...

Are Most Deaf In the USA On SSI? I don't think that is true.

You cannot count on the percentage because they account for all deaf people. People who have just became deaf through old age, blind people who are deaf, and low funtioning people who are deaf as well. Every single deaf ear is counted and this causes the percentage to seem very high. Even...

Who gave you your sign name?

Make a shape of a d at your forehead and shoot it straight out away form your forehead and open your hands at the sametime to sign (straight.) the reason for this is because my last name is said the same way as straight. It's was given to me by Valentine Wojton III
