    well he has a team formed now that I am happy with....his dhh teacher, speech teacher, early intervention teacher all through the school they come to our house. Now we have an outside speech teacher the same one my daughter goes too. Then after a few phone calls I made... I just got connected...

    Well when he starts walking and he cant hear me from another room so the FM will come in handy for that and outside, playgrounds so I dont have to constantly run up to him to get his attention. my voice will go right to the aids. The audiologist said it should help IF he benefits from his aids...

    thank you for your response. ASL is used at home with my daughter even at her hearing loss which is not nearly as bad like her brothers. she still needs ASL. So much easier for her and us even when we are at home. I am wondering now if deaf school would be ideal for my kids. they are all hours...

    not really on a daily basis. when we go to deaf/hoh events or camps and our kids play together and if we go into groups at camp I get to communicate with them and they love their CI's. My friends daughter has one CI she got it at 7yrs. and is not thrilled about it as of now she still has one...

    She wears the boots home all school year. But summertime they come off. The aids are great during summer and even on the weekends like now her aids have no problems. this week I have had them shut off 2 times. I change her batteries like 3 times a week!!! we get good batteries too no off brand...

    No she is 6 and doesnt turn them off....the battery door is always shut when she gets home. Maybe it is the easy FM causing the aids to turn off. I should ask .....thanks
