I am finding with the cooler weather, it is a little more difficult to take off your sweaters without the hardware falling off.

From when I was four years old, I worn hearing aids. I stopped wearing one in my left because I lost all residual hearing and it was pointless to wear one. I continue to wear one in my right ear to this day!

I can hear birds but it has to be in quiet. I can hear the rustling of the leaves outside since this weekend I was spraying the perimeter of the house, the windows and doors with insect repellent. I can hear crickets but I have a music program which is the only one I can pick the crickets up...

Lipreading is SO exhausting when it done with no audio cues what so ever. I use to get headache from focusing so hard. I haven't stopped lipreading and quite frankly, after 24 years of doing so, I doubt I ever will stop. A CI is just a tool like a HA, it does not give you perfect hearing...
