Tympanograms never bothered me. You feel a slight pressure but it never hurt me. I would experience bouts of what sounds like you being under water which was really loud tinnitus, so I had several of them performed which revealed no fluid in the middle ear.

I had my left ear done which was an ear that I had not used in 15 years and it took a month or so before I started really understanding some speech. Apparently from what I've seen on activation videos that when people get their better ear done, they can understand at activation! I suffered...

I agree with him on using Bose. I have bose speakers hooked up through my cable box and holy cow, sound awesome compared to my surround sound speakers I use to have!

Valle doll, I don't go to auditory therapy either. It is done on my own dime and time. I use Audio books on my Ipod, in my car, different english as a second language websites. My mom will say words to me covering up her lips and I attempt to the repeat them. It all helps. I force myself...

I had horrible episodes of tinnitus that masked out everything. When I woke up from surgery, it was gone. It was great. During the recovery period, it came back but nowhere near the magnitude that it was prior to the surgery. After activation, I don't hear it unless I take my hardware off...
