Vizio is something you should take a consideration on among with the other brands. It's a pretty economical TV brand. It's only my opinion, but it has good captioning at least it's readable. I believe it is also Energy Star certified.

Yeah, but I want to say that based on my experience and then my most humble opinion. Everyone have a choice to learn how to lipread or whatnot. I chose not and it's ultimately my decision because it's not effective for me as it can be for the others.

I did not realize that 50% of the deaf population has Usher's. Really? That number never came across my mind, I thought it would have been much lower, like 20-25% of the population.
