    Do you work with Cisco devices?

    You can buy used router from ebay. I got myself a router from ebay for approx. 100 I believe and it is very CHEAP and model #2501. I find that it can be boring with one router. It is best to buy two or more routers for more challenge practice.

    I know. Cisco device is different from Linksys device, and you work with CLI (command line interface) on cisco devices. It is like MS-DOS command and you control the network traffic with cisco devices and make the rules on it. Linksys have no CLI and not many options like Cisco devices.

    It will not work that way if you get SR200 and plug it in DI-624 if DI-624 is un-configured to work with VP.

    Monitor Manager is not that big deal! You can do physical check the printer instead of waiting for stupid warning dialog to appear. Buying wireless USB is cost efficient than buying a new printer.

    You are correct about H.323 is using port 1720 and VP needs 1720 to be opened for incoming calls.

    Actually Linksys have its h.323 standard protocol removed when Cisco bought and merge with Linksys. H.323 is a protocol that provides audio/visual communication.
