welcome- you are not alone- I understand exackly what you must be dealing with being deaf myself. Hang in there, something will come along soon work wise- employers can't refuse you work because of your hearing- serious breach of discrimination otherwise.

I purchased a Global II Dry & Store today- hopefully it will of a benefit to my hearing aids in the long run. Can you put your ear mould in the store box also? Many thanks :-)

Thanks for the info again! the mypilot is the one i'm looking at for now, my nhs don't supply it! rubbish. Enquiring at some david ormerod private clinics how much it'd cost.

Cheers, is the compilot the device where you can control the hearing aids volume and change settings etc with the built in screen? where abouts in the uk you from?

Hi, Thats interesting to know- can i use the icom and bluetooth loop for phone/ipod with this aid without having to have anything extra attached to the naida sp aid itself? Thanks

Hi, went to see a private hearing centre to enquire about having some different hearing aids. I was told about Phonak Ambra petite CIC. they look amazing and the audiologist seems content that they would be ok for my hearing loss- moderate/servere in my right ear and servere/profound in my left...

Hi again- been a while since i posted so thought i'd do an update. I purchased some hearing aid ear gear covers(beige) to try help me with my sweat behing my ear issue when i work out or do hard labour outside, they work ok however they do get soaked and the naida sp hearing aids start giving...

I don't have any extra attachments on my Naida sp- Just the plain hearing aids themselves which the nhs supplied( shame they don't give you a choice in the fancy colours(like yours) then again i'd probably be asking for too much considering I was lucky not to pay for mine.:hmm:

Just ordered some ear gears for my naida sp hearing aids- i'm expecting terrible feedback with them on, haven't got them yet. Like what other members have already stated, I get feedback also by waving my hand close to my ears. The joys of being deaf hey! On the plus side I get a damn good...
