Thank you, daystarnite! My Username is quite simple...both my husband and I are named Pat, and we have two cats (and a dog, and some fish). I think I used to be on a Pet Forum that became inactive with the Username 2Pats2Cats :giggle:

:aw: They are all so cute!!! And ferrets are like Slinkys with feet! You can put their front feet in one hand and their back feet in the other hand and move your hands up and down alternately! A friend of mine has a ferret who likes to do that!

ASL keeps popping up in my life, so I made the conscious decision to pursue it. Somebody is spending too much time on the I Can Has Cheezburger site. It's funny there because "they" are cats.

Butterscotch makes the Tazmanian Devil from the Bugs Bunny cartoons look like an amateur!!! He even bites and scratches his veterinarian who is known in town as "the cat whisperer!" :laugh2: Butterscotch would probably approach you. He's really pretty friendly, just don't keep trying to pet...

I hit the Send button too soon. I meant to get this photo in the last post with my cats. Nakai is my Basenji mix. I've had him since he was about 8 months old, and I've had him for 4 years. He is stubborn, but a good dog. He knows some essential signs; sit, wait, okay, lay down, etc.

Here are my pets. Butterscotch is a Maine Coon with a bad attitude! Don't let that face fool you! He is my first cat and is 8 years old. I've had him since he was 5 weeks old. Popcorn (she came with that name) is my "itty bitty pretty kitty." When I got her she was at least 4 years old then...

I have a Basenji mix who picked up on signs very well, despite his otherwise stubborn streak! He does what he wants to do, but when you sign to him he seems to do better.
