Dreading tomorrow and dealing with more bureaucracy. Dealt with bureaucracy to set up Medicare and supplemental insurance. Meditated to calm down about the worries and frustrations. :P Just finished a Scotch. Thinking about cooking dinner.

Got paperwork turned in for Medicare (bill to come later for Sept.) so I can then apply for supplemental so I can keep same healthcare & docs. Walked Mika dog. Happy dawg! :aw: Worked w/ tech issues for internet CapTel phone. Argued w/ medical tech -- and being able to do so on my CapTel phone...

Feeling good about my day and doing what I did. :)

Hopeful the internet "constipation" problem is now fixed due to the new CapTel internet phone (will post in that forum, more details :lol:). A bit frustrated dealing with bureaucracy getting signed up for Medicare B + supplemental health insurance to cover Rx's, etc., before Cobra runs out end...

Thanks, Amy. :) We did talk to them and ended up hooking the phone directly with an Ethernet cable. No go with operating wirelessly across the room from our computer setup. It works consistently now, but having it on the network *does* slow down our Internet feed. :( Found out our DSL is the 3.0...

I just got new aids, also. But I remind people they are NOT "Star Trek," LOL! :P People just don't realize because often the media in articles and such make it sound like aids or implants *REPLACE* the hearing we've lost. Ain't so, but the media misrepresents this all the time to the general...
