That is what I was trying to say in my earlier post. Didn't mean it to sound like I give up and all is lost. I still strive to to my best and make the most of it in any situation and in all aspects of my life...it's not easy, but wish it was.

Pinkblackzebra, I haven't gotten my CI yet. I go on Jan. 30th to get tested more and whatever else they do on first visit. It will be my first step towards getting the CI. I cannot wait to get it!!!!

Thanks Geoff. The more research I do on CI's and the more ppl telling me it will be okay, the more confident I get and excited to be implanted. There is no doubt I will follow my surgeon instructions... this cost too much to mess with if it is not ready for the races. I did see some information...

That's true. I got my first HA when i was 6 and growing up with them, there was times i got in the shower with my HA still on cuz I forgot they were on my ear. There were many times I forgot I had them on cuz they became a part of me till i recently lost all of my hearing.

I will be getting a CI soon as long as I pass all the necessary tests. I have shaved my whole head for years (my preference) and if i get a CI, I wouldn't care less what ppl think when they see the processor or magnet. All that matters is we can hear! The way I see it, it's no difference than...

Heck no, quads are twice as heavy as a dirtbike. It can be done, but I value my life a lot more than trying to do a freestyle trick that has already been done. I'm not legally insane yet. lmao
