    Proper etiquette while driving...

I couldn't blast the music while I'm driving anyway, it'd be too much of a distraction, so maybe hearing people don't drive as well because sounds distract us, lol.

Have you ever been asked "Would you rather be deaf or blind?"

I think I have..if someone would ask me that randomly I think I'd pick deaf over blind. In my point of view I would rather live in a silent world then a black world. My ASL teacher last year said he got mad because his twin brother picked blind because he wanted to listen to music. If...

    Proper etiquette while driving...

I think the best thing to do is ask the deaf person, to show them you care how they feel.

true perception of the hearing world?

So you guys are talking about cultures. The gay culture and Deaf culture. We do have many cultures in this world, but in my opinion in the end, we're all human beings. So why argue which cultures exist?

A video I watched in ASL class and what I think.

Like I've said before, I'm a ASL student in high school. I'm starting to get my views on Deaf Culture because I'm learning a lot about it. I watched a video on I believe HOH kids AND maybe deaf too. They were forcing them to learn how to speak. I know the teachers were doing what they think is...

    How should i act?

Easy, that guy needs a freaking life if he goes and makes fun of deaf people, and also he needs a life if he goes to the bar and gets drunk! By the way I'm hearing. Some people in this world need lives, and need to stop making fun of people, it's just low.

    Voicing with the hearing anyone?

I've heard deaf people talking. I don't make fun of it, but I'm learning ASL, so if I had to, I could have a basic conversation with someone, if they didn't feel comfortable using their voice. I'm still not that wonderful at ASL though..

I'm learning ASL and some about the Deaf Culture

Hey everybody. I'm an ASL student in high school and learning how to sign and learning a bit about the differences between Deaf Culture and the Hearing World. It's pretty interesting to learn. I have nothing against deaf people, especially since my ASL teacher is deaf, so I've gotten to know...
