I haven't had moisture issues with mine. I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world if my HA went out, except I would struggle at work without it. I am scheduled to get a evaluation for a new one soon anyway though. The audiologist said my HA is a wee bit outdated being its a 2002 model.

Exactly. I usually know when the battery is going, I changed battery anyway and cleaned it and nothing working for a bit there. That usually never happens.
