Hello and welcome. Enjoy reading and posting. You are lucky, many have NO insurance or like mine, pay much less every 3 years. Keeping positive will help you find creative ways to deal with it. There used to be a late deaf forum here. It has lots of good information.

There has been a program in Cali, started by conservatives in 2008, that seems to be working quite well. They give the inmates a real college education. In the past, before the education began, the inmates would get out, return, repeat. Now they are leaving with a degree, real knowledge and...

No two are the same, not all deaf, not all who commit crimes. There are programs that work. Maybe not this fellow, maybe not to you, but there is hope. Always, hope, and understanding.

I do believe that the current legal system does not rehab criminals well. I don't believe that should be normal, there are many who do reform, especially after an education. Whether or not this particular criminal could be reformed may be in doubt. Still, "once a criminal always a criminal" is...

My granddaughter picked her own. Her name is Penelope but her parents call her Pumpkin. I did P for a smile as she is happy always. She taps her hands. She wins. She is only 9 months old, so it's very cute.

I have not gone, but would really enjoy being able to go.

Orange Marmalade glazed chicken breast and whole, young carrots along with fresh, local beets sliced, roasted and served on a bed of the beet greens with a light, fresh garlic mince. Lovely. Very good.
