I really don't know. I think one reason could be that I feel I am on my own. We are the fist gen immigrants in Canada. We have no relatives in Canada. So sometimes we feel lonely. We do have a few close friends, but friends are friends, they are not family members.

Thanks. The tubes are still there and working (tympanograms type b with large ear canal volume). So I guess what you are saying is, if the tubes are still there and not blocked, then it is impossible to have fluid build up, thus his hearing should be back to normal unless there are problems...

Sorry I meant otitis media with effusion. When he was first diagnosed with OME last Nov, his ears are full with fluids, however no pain no fever no nothing, the only symptom is hearing loss at that time. His adenoid and tonsil were also removed in July (same time as the tubes).
