Proud to be vegan! I've only recently made that switch, though I've been a vegetarian since the age of 6. I'm now 25. I can tell anyone who says that vegetarians have health problems... it's never harmed me at all! :D

I'm HoH- was diagnosed with hearing loss a couple years ago (and I'd just thought people mumbled a lot... :giggle:). When I went back for my next test a year later I'd lost another 20db. They think its just genetics- both my dad and grandfather have some degree of hearing loss- but they don't...

People have repeatedly asked how gay marriage being legalized would harm those who disagree with it. I might've missed something, but I've yet to see a real answer to that.

You know, I feel like theres a very simple, straightforward question thats been asked here and people are finding many creative ways to avoid giving a simple, straightforward answer.

I haven't seen anyone here saying "you must believe this". On either side. What I HAVE seen is one side saying, "you must live in this way, because *I* believe it".

And I hardly think they're going to take away Black History Month just because some people are racist. I was discussing the issue of gay marriage with a friend the other day. She commented that she knew a lot of people weren't ready for its legalization. I asked why we should cater to bigotry.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, one of the more commonly cited stories is that of Lot- but as I understand it, it wasnt just that there was homosexual sex, it was that there were men trying to rape other men. A different thing entirely.
