My daughter has Ci and she can get low grade MRI with no problems. She does not have to have the magnet removed for MRI. That was one of the reasons I went with the company that we did. The technology has come a very long way. Good luck with everything Johnjoe1011.

She has her daddy's metabolism. He is very small. She is just going to be petite I think. She has come a very long way from 15 ounces and 10 1/4 inches at birth to 14lbs 9oz and 29 inches now at 18 months.

Yes it is scary. Ashley was born at barely 25 weeks. I had just started my 6th month. Having a preemie is a very stressful thing. You just have to remember to stay strong because your baby needs you. I didn't have time to fall apart. I still don't 18 months later.

They feel like part of her delays are from her vision and hearing and then some from being so early. At this time there is no sign of mental retardation. She is really to young to tell 100%. Doctors and therapist are hopeful. She picks up on things so fast and is catching up little by little...

You can get a low grade MRI without having to have the magnet removed with the Med-El implant. No issue there.
