Anybody tried both aids?

I feel I am almost there. :roll:

One lady talking to her friend about me being " deaf" and the other started trying to sign ( she doesn't know how to). I hated that , making fun of my deafness.

Is it the Chili? How does your audiogram look like ?

How are you doing with your Chili ? I was thinking of getting one as it got good fame recently.

Esteem isn't for deaf people. It is only for hard of hearing people .You need to have good speech scores to get these.

looks like you will get it. I think you will not have any problem with hearing afterwards, becasue you have been hearing most of your life, so it will be like hearing again as soon as you get the CI.

She was not deaf . This is only marketting. She hears better than me otherwise she won't qualify for Esteem.

People need CI because they have damaged nerves. If thier nerves were fine , they don't need it. I don't understand.:hmm:

Most of those who got CI got rid of Tinnitus.

96% is a huge score. I bet not all normal hearing people can get his score :P. What are things that you are still missing though having the implant? Can you hear birds? What about speech of little kids ? TV ? Radio ...etc?

Does this mean you can hear speech normally ?

What was your score with the previous Implant?
