    Computer security in a dormitory.

I said I can secure them physically but not in a network due to its being public to everyone in a dormitory. Anyone can access it through the wired network but limited WiFi in other locations. I get my own wireless router. What if someone able hack via the public network or see my folders?

    Computer security in a dormitory.

I bought a mobile job box to keep them locked and plan to buy security screws and wire for the desktop computer. I had with enough jokes now.

    Computer security in a dormitory.

Ha. Perhaps. My new computer case has hot-swap hard drive bays so I want to lock them out if removed.

    Computer security in a dormitory.

In next week, I will be off to a trade school for a better chance in jobs. Due to being remote location from my home, I have to stay in a dormitory. I'm taking my laptop and gaming computer there. I can thief-proof them physically but not hard drives or network. I'm going to use their...

What was the last movie you watched?

The Karate Kid (1984) and The Substitute (1996). I had to watch them before they expired on Netflix. I wish Netflix should make a special list and let the watchers know when's movies going expired.

What browser do you use now?

I switched to Comodo Dragon last night. It's modified Google Chrome with security features provided by Comodo. I learned there is security modified Firefox called IceDragon by same company. Both are free to download.

I'm so glad I switched to Mexican grill restaurants. Fast food isn't great now anymore.

    New Google Map

I have access to new Google Map but unfortunate my video card is too old to run the 3D Earth mode. I guess I could upgrade it for that feature and Direct 11 games someday. I didn't pick the video card. It was birthday present from my Dad.

The Xbox One (yes, that is the name)

I heard there are 20 different Steam Boxes developed by different hardware manufacturers and certified by Valve.

The Xbox One (yes, that is the name)

No. Dell (Alienware) isn't team up with Valve. It may look much like mini atx computer unit with network system, enough to go in entertainment center.

The Xbox One (yes, that is the name)

Yes and no. It designed to be affordable and mini-sized PC console capable of run any games through Steam but can be plugged to any television. Valve want to expend Steam to PC or existed console users with little or no experience in custom gaming computers. Either Linux or Window OS can be...

The Xbox One (yes, that is the name)

Don't forget Valve may enter the console war against Sony and Microsoft soon. They are developing and testing prototypes this year. May God know what's happening once Valve released their gaming system to the gaming world.

EA exec says Xbox One/PS4 are a generation ahead of top-spec PCs

*crazy PC user laughs* My gaming desktop computer is more powerful than XBox One and PlayStation 4 yet it's only five years old and STILL run new games like Dishonored in high settings!

The Xbox One (yes, that is the name)

Yes. Companies depend on the sales of video games to keep going with video game business. If their new games sell poor, they have to make decisions on a sequel's fate or let some workers go. Some buyers won't buy them in full prices, just want few dollars saved in used games. Unfortunate for...

The Xbox One (yes, that is the name)

Gamestop make pure profits from used games, NEVER give a cut to the publishers/developers who own the rights to the IPs. It made sense that Microsoft is willing to help them get little profits from used games. This is why MS try to make Xbox One more attraction than other next-generation...
