Got late 2003, it's still young. :) My main computer is late 2003 and am still using it! I'm happy! Why would you need to upgrade to MCE? It's pretty much same as XP except little features like DVD, Music, Pictures.. It's not that big deal, you know?

You can try Paint.NET. Of course, it's FREE and powerful program almost same as PhotoShop.. Like the dude said "This program ... has actually made me uninstall Photoshop." So, why not give it try? Paint.NET
