Exaggeration can be quite expressive of why you find a particular argument to be failing. "If what you're saying is true, and x ridiculous act adheres to what you're saying, why is that ridiculous act also not part of your belief system" is much more expressive than "dude, you're wrong."

Ultrasounds are already included in your abortion. A doctor would not perform an abortion without staging the pregnancy visually and confirming that it is not a tubal pregnancy. This law has nooothing to do with actually ensuring the health of women, and everything to do with showboating.
