At first I thought Meniers and went for testing but came back with no answer because of the implant. The ENT said he thinks its a bad migrane disorder so I need to go see a special Dr. for that.

Today I went to my Audiologist who thinks taking the implant out would NOT stop these attacks from happening :( Ive known her all my life and trust her 150%. She said it is up to me, but dosent want me to JUMP. She gave me a list of things to do, and Doctors to see if they can help me. I am sad.

Thanks PFH! She dosent want to rush or jump into it, she wants to make sure we find a good DR. and that this is right thing to do (which I think it is!). She also told me tonight if I get the implant out she thinks it will be better if I goto a Deaf college :) which Ive wanted to do for years!

OH MY GOSH! yea...growing up my favriote color was purple! But then my Grandpa started telling me it was the color of DEATH.....and he wouldnt talk to me if I was wearing any purple. So it kinda stuck in my brain! :laugh2:

I dont recall if I did...I dont think I did....but after I was for the infection when they vacumed it out. Is this "biofilm" common?

How would they know if it is this? Shortly after being implanted I got a VERY bad ear infection cause so much pain I would cry! I went back to dr. who had to vacume out the infection puss, it was very gross--he said the largest piece was size of an eraser!

Exactly! They do it because if people know the higher risk might not get the implant--they will not get more money. It is wrong, obviously bigger risk than they tell people!
