    Wow, Tazallie, that's so cool about you learning BSL! Is BSL much different from ASL? If I knew ASL (which unfortunately I don't) and went to England, would people there be able to understand me if I used ASL, or at least get the gist of what I was trying to sign? Just wonderin'.....

    Hey, logtar, I'm a newbie myself....a hearing woman who, like you, wants to learn ASL as well as the culture. Whew! Glad I'm not the only one around here, then! :) People have been real friendly and welcoming to me since I've joined...I'm sure you'll feel just as comofortable, too.

    hello everyone!

    Um, Malfoyish, I don't think I said I was taking ASL classes (did I?)....but I sure want to! I was signed up to take a class this summer, but it was cancelled because not enough people had signed up. So, now I have to see when the next available class is going to be, and hope it's on a night...

    Hehehe....actually, that's kinda where my nickname came from. When I worked with kids at a summer camp one year, my friends said I looked like the Pied Piper with all of them following me. Of course, the popsicles I had for them might also have had something to do with it..... :giggle...
