    Man shot by his dog

When I was a Hunter Education Instructor we would get a yearly Incident Report. One year there was an incident when a guy was shot and killed by his dog. The guy was out duck hunting. He had leaned his shotgun against the side of the boat. When the dog jumped out it foot hit the shotgun's...

I haven't had a need to mess with that option. I'm at work, I'll try to get back to you later about it. Remember what options you've adjusted and how you got to them so you can fix them if you decide you don't like them. A little bit of knowledge can be dangerous. Lol

Double click the home button and it will minimize all open apps. Swipe up to close the open apps and just open the one you want to use at the time. This will save a lot of battery life. Because the apps will not be looking for info.

Donate them to the police/sheriff dept. They set them up for 911 calls and give them to the battered woman's shelters and such. I think you can write them off on your taxes that way too.

Like I mentioned earlier my wife is president of the ERG. This group helps to make policy for and inform Verizon of issues with the Fereral ADA Act of 1999. She has some inside info on new thing coming down the pike. She also works in the legal dept.

You can either turn off data to save battery life and will be able to get calls. Or you can put the phone in Airplane mode and not get calls, text or email until you turn it back on. This will keep your battery full all day.

You're welcome. There's very little that I don't know about iPhones. I am a HUGE iPhone fan. I will tell y'all this though, my wife is the President of Verizon's Employee Resource Group with disabilities. I joined her for a seminar a couple of months ago. There is an app coming out in February...

Have you gone into the iPhone's Accessibilities options? There might be some option there that would make the phone more user friendly for you.

    What did you learn today?

Sorry about the cat but that still doesn't answer the question of a barking dog deterring a would be intruder. I'm very protective of my pets as well but I'd sacrifice everyone of them for the safety of my wife and household.

    What did you learn today?

A barking dog will deter without having to be a guard dog. If you're a rescuer and know about dogs then you should know that as well. There are idiots everywhere someone could give your dog an Anti-Freeze cocktail just for fun.

    What did you learn today?

Bott, you can read any statistic anywhere you want. The fact is houses with dogs are broken into FAR less than houses without dogs. The poison reasoning is not very valid. Beside you can rescue a dog for under $100.00. Moving can incur a lot of time and expense. BTDT

    What did you learn today?

If you're concerned about your neighborhood and break-in's then get a big dog. That's one thing I like about having Zeus, I can drive to the store or gas station and leave my truck unlocked and running. I have no worries about it being stolen. I pity the fool that tries to walk into my house...

It doesn't really matter what sign you use for a command as long as you use the same sign for the same thing consistently. Before I started learning ASL I was teaching my dogs hand signals. EXAMPLE: sit would be D in ASL stay would be B in ASL or Your in ASL...

I bought the Einstein 400 TS for Zeus. It was the best investment I could have made in his training. It has 3 modes vibrate, low stimulus and high stimulus also a built in light. The stimulus settings go from 1-100. The light comes in very handy as I walk the dogs at night EVERYNIGHT...
