    Did a world a favor.

Ms. P and gays If you dislike gays so much Ms. P. why are you constantly posting in the gay forum? I don't mind that you are straight, why should you mind that I am gay. I'm certainly not interested in taking any men from you.

Dumb access denial excuses for your service dog

Dumb Access Denials When I started this thread it was to be a fun place to talk about all the dumb excuses that people have used to deny access with your service dog. I should not have to defend my "right" to have one or feel that I need to explain why I have a handicapped plaque. I need my...

ADA vs ADA Where did you get this information from? If someone states they have an allergy the allergy has to be life threatening and documented by a doctor. If someone states they have phobia, which also has to be documented, then I can be asked to enter by a different door and I should...

    Late In Life Lesbians

I saw a special on Logo that I can really relate to. It was concerning women who came out late in life. Finally, I felt like I had connected because I am a late in life lesbian and I'm not alone. Are there any others out there?

Dumb access denial excuses for your service dog

Because being a woman alone I would like to know that no one is going to sneak up on me in public. Many women have been abducted from just such places, especially parking lots. How about if I drop my keys, my dog alerts me to that. The actual definition of any service dog is "an animal...

Dumb access denial excuses for your service dog

I have had some real winners. 1. I have been told that I do not need my dog to hear in a store. 2. Asked if my dog was a blind dog. 3. Told no pets allowed. 4. Door greeters watching me park my car in the handicapped spot and then ask me upon entering the store if I was blind...

My RIGHTS to keep my Hearing Dog....

Handling people who pet you SD I will politely explain that this is my working dog and that one should never pet without first prior permission from the handler. That to distract a working dog can cause injury to the handler. I have found that most people just don't think. Also, a lot of...

My RIGHTS to keep my Hearing Dog....

Whats in a name Get a copy of your State's statutes concerning Service Dogs/Assistance Dogs/Hearing Dogs, however they have it listed as well as a copy of the American with disabilities Act and keep them with you. Federal Law supercedes state law. Your civil rights have been violated. It is...
