I know that facial expression is grammatically important to ASL, but what about general fingerspelling? Does the person doing the spelling use the face or facial expressions? Should the person watching the spelling be looking at the face? If anyone could let me know that would be great!

This is great everyone, thank you so much. For those of you who choose not to use spell checkers, is there a specific reason why you don't use them? Is it just the habit of using a dictionary or is there some reason relating to the actual spell checker?
