    Nitro's recent situation

I don't know if you've considered this an option, but if you've got a handgun, you can always home carry. I've got a revolver that I slip in my pocket when I get up in the morning, even if I'm not planning on going anywhere. You never know when it actually might be a mountain lion, or a...

    Nitro's recent situation

Ahahaha... I balk at paying $20 for a box of 50 .38 specials, I couldn't imagine paying $40 for a single shot. Too much, in my opinion.

    Observations

I think he's getting to the fact that he did, he just didn't do it fast enough, so things were awkward at first. He indicated that once he'd told her, their conversation went along much smoother.

    Nitro's recent situation

It's nice to see the media not conveying us as monsters, for a change.

I think they know. They just don't care. :/ It is what it is.

    Nitro's recent situation

I'm pretty sure this violates the whole, knowing what's in front of, and behind your target at all times. If you're clubbing AND shooting, you're pointing your firearm in a potentially unconfirmed location, potentially putting people at risk. Then you've got to consider, if you're fighting...

Mindset, skill-set, gear-set. In order of importance. :)

    Observations

It's nice to meet you. I'm actually preparing to start taking ASL classes up at Utah State University. I just found out that the Deaf education program was set up by a Deaf man who happens to teach ASL at the college. Needless to say, I'm excited.

I'm not deaf yet, but hi! I'm Cort.

    Observations

It really is. That's what gets me the most. It doesn't actually bother me that I'm losing my hearing. Sure, it's inconvenient and the tinnitus drives me insane, but hey, whatever. What bothers me is, I have to live with it the rest of my life, and my family and friends all exhibit signs of...

    A new Worry...

Yep. Just what Bottesini said. That's why I don't use antibiotics.

    Halli Hallo :3

    Fish Fry

Fish fry to me is gathering with my family in Wisconsin and sitting in grandma's front yard in a giant circle, fighting off mosquitoes and talking about the good old days. It's a thousand pictures and a sunburn. It's the best dang time of my life.

    Observations

It's possible, but it's very remote. Going through the symptoms list: I'm not easily distracted or bothered by loud/sudden noises... Noisy environs aren't upsetting to me at all, except that I can't pick out more than one or two words in a sentence, depending on the level of noise. My...

    Nitro's recent situation

If they're double-action only, they're pretty safe. My last gun was a Kahr CW9, and there wasn't a safety, but I felt comfortable carrying with one in the chamber because it had a 14 pound pull, and was highly, highly unlikely to snag and discharge. Coupled with a good holster, you're very...

    Nitro's recent situation

They bring up a really good point. This is also a really good reason to carry a revolver instead. Even if you carry with the next cylinder unloaded (as required by law in Utah if you're open carrying), all you have to do is pull the trigger twice, before your boom-stick goes BANG. No worrying...

    Zobmondo!!

Inner ear, honestly. I'd rather deal with the inconvenience of not being able to scratch, than to look like I'm picking my nose all the time. Or experience the constant desire to sneeze...

    Price tags.....

I think the simplest would be to use stickers. I like the string thing, cuz it's easier to remove the price tag, if it's for a present, but there isn't always a place to attach a string.
