Sprint is America's Favorite 4G Network?

Each carrier thinks their "4G" is the right 4G. Sprint uses WiMax, Verizon uses LTE, Tmobile uses HSPA+, so which is the true 4G? Each to his own. But, I've been reading reports that Verizon Thunderbolt blows Sprint EVO out of the water in speed tests. Too bad Verizon is $54 a month, Sprint is...

    HTC Thunderbolt

Never mind. It is for non-smartphones. Damn.

    HTC Thunderbolt

For kicks, I went to Verizon wireless website to see how much unlimited data/text without voice minutes would cost per month, it shows as $34.99 per month. Am I missing something? where are you guys finding $54 a month?

    Sorenson Ntouch

I called my friend with my ntouch Evo to his Z4 on iPhone and it worked fine.

    Sorenson Ntouch

Nope, they are not to remove other VRS providers' apps. If they do or encourage you or anybody to, you can report them to Sorenson Customer Information Relations (CIR).

    MVP Port Forwarding

B.S. Does not make a difference. MVP uses 22001, 8100-8150 TCP 8100-8150 UDP VP-200 uses 1720, 15328-15348 TCP 15328-15348 UDP I have seen several people who still have MVP and there is no conflict with Sorenson, ports are different and separated.

    Sorenson Ntouch

That is to prevent hearing people from downloading it and installing it. I know plenty of hearing people with Z4 and P3. Sorenson wants to prevent that from happening.

    Sorenson Ntouch

Sorenson was called Sorenson Vision, Inc in 1995 and they sold ASL videos on CD back then. Then in 1999 they released the first software based video conference for modem to modem calls and it was called EnVision. Here are the facts: Company Timeline | Sorenson Communications® Welcome to...

    google voice

I tried it out, even though it is a neat idea, I thought it was a pain to have separate numbers for hearing people to call me. What if I'm sitting in front of my VP or computer expecting a call, but it goes to Google voice mail, then I'd have to call them back. It could end in phone tag if the...

Videophone with two routers - please help!

I was going to reply and give you instructions, but saw your line above. With your configuration, it won't be that simple. I would suggest you call tech support for help, so we wouldn't spend days/weeks via a forum trying to figure this out. A trainer can get you up and going in no time.

Talked to my daughter on the vp for the first time this weekend

Sweet! Glad to hear that you finally were able to talk to your daughter face to face! And I'm glad to be of assistance! LOL! Yeah, my job gets a bit overwhelming at times, so I am not able to hang out as much as I would like. But I do check in from time to time. :cool2:

    DD-WRT VP-200 Wireless Bridge

/32 netmask mean the first IP will be take into account (192.168.1.125 here) if you want to select the whole subnet you will have to set something like 192.168.1.0/24

    Sorenson ntouch

None taken. It is just a "keep your eyes open for a new product" video. Personally, I didn't see the point of it, but then when I thought about it, this guy travels, is rarely home, wants to talk to his daughter. Perhaps, a new product is coming that will solve this.

    DD-WRT VP-200 Wireless Bridge

I do use DD-WRT myself with a WRT600N. If you enable QoS, you can give the VP-200 priority so it does not run "too slow". If you assigned IP address 192.168.1.125 like me, make sure you have /32 to limit it to that particular IP address.

    Guess what I got something

Good deal. Did you have to sign a 2-year service contract for 3G wireless services though?

    How Sorenson VRS is doing?

No bad news means they are doing well. :cool2:

Frustrations on VPs and DSL issues.

Also, if you try to make VRS calls with i2eye, they will not proceed with the call since there is no local number. I tried it with Purple, ZVRS and Sorenson, all said the same thing.

A question about the human factors in the use of TTY devices

No one that I know has used a TTY in ages, and I'm pretty sure most people here don't either. What is your purpose for those questions? If you are trying to "improve" the technology, you are pretty much wasting your time... this is the video age.
