You are right, they don't understand, and we are completely on our own. It is so tiring and frustrating to have to be constantly be cueing others in to our disability, but that is the nature of deafness or hard of hearing. Grin and bear it!:lol: That's sad that you missed out on eating out...

Yes, I've heard of that, and done it. The bag can be molded around the injury so much better than those frozen soft ice bags intended for that use

Back to thinking about frozen vegetables, just wanted to say, my favorite way to eat frozen peas is a handful right out of the package, still frozen, yum!
