When I was 10 (65 years ago), my granddad let me steer a Farmall AA tractor as he fed hay to cattle and sheep from the wagon. Four years later, I got a provisional license at 14 to drive to high school in town and back to the farm (of course I drove other places but never got caught :whistle:)...

I do a lot of competitive shooting with muzzle-loaders and other black-powder Old West guns. Some people think it's why I lost my hearing, but my older sister is deaf and never shot a gun in her life.

Hi, Tousi. Nice to see you again. Yes, I do plan to hang around AllDeaf more. I miss the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The world of hearies is okay, but too many audists think they understand the problems of deafness when they really don't have a clue.

Our local theaters don't show subtitles, so we don't attend. Instead, we invested in a sixty-inch TV and watch movies at home--complete with buttered popcorn.:popcorn: The last movie we watched was The Revenant with SDH, the film about Huge Glass being left for dead in the northwestern...
