Phonak is good, I have Niadas. Just don't expect perfect hearing no Hearing Aid can provide that but they do make things much easier. The best tip is be patient and realistic.

My HAs sound electronic at times but only when I'm listening to other electronic devices TV, Radios & ETC.

I start out 65db in my left ear and 70db in the right then both slope slowly down to 120Db.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was told to get Phonak Niadas and test again for a CI later on.

I also don't see what the big deal is. At the end of the day we all have the problem of our ears not working as well as they should or not at all. I do depend on my HAs morning to night.
