Ron, That is great news!! Keep us posted on your progress. Have you tried any books on tape? I also found listening to talk radio on the way to work was helpful. So far the coolest thing for me is being able to tell where my spoiled dog is by listening for his tags clinking.

The only way to find out if you are a candidate is to go for an evaluation. The evaluation will test your hearing and speech discrimination with and without hearing aids. Good Luck!

Ron, I agree with the others. Go and get things checked out. I did not have any drainage after my CI surgery. I did have a few sharp pains and very slight dizziness but that was when I tried to do too much. Let us know how you are doing.

The batteries have lasted more than a week for my Naida. Is Miss Kat using an FM system? Maybe the FM is draining the battery quicker.
