You could get a colorful hearing aid and normal mold. If you decide later you would like a colorful mold you could do that later as you will have to replace the molds periodically.

I agree with R2D2 that it would be a good idea to postpone school until after you are activated. You will have numerous appointments and getting used to a CI takes time. It is also tiring. Starting school and getting used to a CI might be a bit much. Good Luck and Keep us posted.

I would see if anything can be done to make your hearing aid sound better to you. I would also have the hearing aids checked to see if they are functioning properly. Finally, I would have your hearing checked. If HAs give you adequate speech discrimination I would stick with HAs.
