Thanks :) I didn't wanna screw up by asking for the wrong kind of doctor :giggle: I donno why I feel this way. I just know that I do. My hearing is only one among many possible reasons for this. I don't like to complain, so I'm not very good at it.

I've told my GP about what I've been going through, and I don't think she believes me. Doctors often don't believe me until they see the symptoms appear before their eyes. Then, they continue to not believe me about the symptoms they didn't see first hand.

Well, this was at my sister's house, not mine, but I think he used some sort of special equipment to thaw the pipes under the house in the crawl space. He tried to close a circuit around the pipes to cause an electrical current in the pipes to warm them, but the pipe was plastic, so that didn't...

My sister's pipes were frozen last month, so she and her husband slept over here for a few nights, then hired a plummer to professionally thaw the pipes.

Of course, in my experience, if everybody understood these conditions, there would be no need for you to avoid people. If anybody brings me down, it's myself. I find nothing mysterious about bipolar whatsoever, and I know it's not your fault the way you come across, and so it doesn't bother me...

My state considers your hearing to be impaired if you have more than 35dB hearing loss in both ears. I wouldn't go around telling people I'm hearing impaired though. If you need somebody to speak more clearly, and they're not bright enough to figure it out on their own, I'd use the term...

I can try to explain why I was glad to lose the last of my hearing. The hearing I had at the end was extremely bothersome. I was unable to tell the difference between a real sound and my imagination. I would turn around whenever I heard somebody call my name. Half the time, there was nobody...
