hello all, I had my fifth mapping and I am doing well but I still hearing robot I don't get it anyway my dc about 40 30..... my husband is having another 2nd cochlear implant on his left ear on January 2, 2008... and then in February we go back for our mapping his first mapping and mine...

mine is 1800hz

I guess I would say 5 since I am still learning about Sensitivity and not sure how it work....I kinda play around to see what I am confortable.

oh yes, I forgot to add it. my first mapping was 17 channnels and now my second mapping is 18 channel. I did really well than my first mapping.

I just had my second mapping on Thursday and it sound better than last week....no more hearing buzzing except I still hear Robot and it should be go away soon. they did measuring, do beeping sound, and jackhammer of which one I am confortable to hear like not a very loud nosie. I had a hearing...
