I asked if something really was wrong and was fixed. He did say there was an issue with a new equipment, and the complaints they received helped them narrow it down. Guess contacting the broadcaster does work sometimes! :D

I got a response back from Shawn Ulibarri. All he said was: "We truly appreciate your help with this and your patience. If you experience more issues, please feel free to contact me." At first I thought, that's it?? But I checked "Bones" tonight, and the caption sync was in fact fixed...

I contacted FOX with a link to this thread. The Director of Broadcast Operations replied to me looking for more info but currently considers this a local issue. The e-mail is basically verbatim from a reply I got from him regarding FOX captioning in 2006, so maybe all caption issues are...

I did. In fact, FOX's closed captioning have been delayed ever since Super Bowl Sunday. House, Glee, Raising Hope ... All extremely difficult to watch with the caption delay. I e-mailed my local FOX affiliate but received no response, of course. :(

I exchanged e-mails with the station's general manager, and he also thinks the delay in the captioning from his station is just fine. I give up. :-/
