I see people all the time wearing HA or CI's when they are playing sports. Quite a few basketball players and a few softball/baseball players. I never relaly noticed if their was any during football season because of the helmet!

My brother has a CI and he's 6. He was implanted when he was 15 monthes. The first one had some malfunctioning parts so he had to be reimplanted. I'd say about 2 or 3 years ago. I see nothin wrong with parents choosing for their children. They want what is best for them whatever it takes.

I've been in my relationship right now for a little over 10 monthes. This is my longest thus far and i hope it is going to be the longest...

well you see I was just kind of curious b/c I wasn't sure abuot it because of his mom's childhood illness making her deaf. It really doesn't matter to me whether or not I have them, I would love them either way.

I have a question. What do you think the chance of me and my boyfriend having deaf children? Both his parents are deaf...one from a childhood disease and the other from genetics. His brother is also deaf. (Genetics). He's the only hearing one in his family. My brother was born deaf but we can't...
