Yes, I can talk on the phone now with no trouble at all. By adjustments, you mean the settings? There are 3 settings on the remote for different enviroments. We go back once a year to adjust the settings. Supposed to be getting a new slimmer/sleeker? remote control sometime this month.

Its great. Not perfect but definately better than hearing aids. I still have some trouble in a noisy enviroment but I'm satified with it.

In my case, my daughter has a remote also and we can use each others. Deafdyke, you seem like a really cool person but I dont understand your way of thinking. I guess youre not impressed with Envoy because its not on the market and there arent many people who have it, so you dont hear much about...

Hmmm It CAN be turned off...with a remote control.

My S/R score was with an anolog aid. As I said the Enoy isn't perfect(I still have trouble in large crowds) but its a great improvement over aids, for me any way. And I dont have the discomfort of wearing something in my ear,dont turn it off for swimming or a shower, no battery to change,ect.

About the Envoy I had the Envoy implanted in May. My daughter and I have been HOH since birth and have worn H/As most of our lives. While the device hasn't given us "perfect" hearing it is a great improvement. My S/R score went from 62% to 90%. I hear a lot of sounds I couldnt hear with aids...

My daughter and I were just surgically implanted with the Envoy Hearing Device. I was wondering if anyone here has heard of it. Its still in the testing stages.
