Lastly read the federal statute... under IDEA it lists under definitions, child with a disability "hearing IMPAIRMENT including deafness.". Why dont you all go argue with Congress and educate them, and stop insulting those who thought they could come here for information and/or support............

We arent switching to ASL now... nor will we. He is doing well in his setting. The school is the one that wanted to switch, stop reading into things and thinking you know. I am done with this sight.... enjoy your lives, and attempting to make others miserable who try to communicate.
