Yes in my university the situation is the same, but I'm not sure if this applies for him because: 1) he is actually a student at the uni (mechanical and electrical engineering :) ), and 2) the teacher in the class is his mom, and he is just there to help her and to practice with us, telling us...

I think that just as there are people lying all the time, there are people who are completely and extraordinarily honest.
