Yeah, you can image how horrible feeling as woman to live in Islam country and have to obey those law... :cold:

I wish I could do something for women and children in that Islam country... :(

Thanks God that we live in freedom country but still feel bad for them ...

How's that any different from Christianity, Judaism, and all the other prophets that had several wives? There's also a good reason why Islamic society allows such a case. Even still, less than 1% of Muslims in this world even have more than one wife. It is a moot case.

And no, men are not allowed to do "anything". That's an exaggeration.

In Islam, rights are given to women more than what Christianity offers (or so it seems). Everything is more or less equal but only in the Islamic society. If you compare it to the American society, then no, it won't seem equal. Two different things. But the problem is that power-zealous Muslims do not practice Islam in an honest way and that's unfortunate.

All these quotes are terribly biased. If you go to Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Egypt, and other Muslim-dominated countries, you'll see differently. Also much of the described situations in the quotes are un-Islamic. They are more likely customs or cultural things that still existed since historic Arabia times and should not be compared to Islam.

Don't you know that Bible.ca was reputed to be a manipulative deceitful website? Those two people who run Bible.ca are "Andrew" and Robert Morey. Morey was found to be a liar when he went into debates with other Muslims. I've been there. I've seen it all. He loses his credibility when it comes to criticizing Islam.

Don't be misled into thinking they're all barbaric. It's far from the actual truth. Many educated Muslims are kind and fair. Islamic law are fair if you do enough research rather than one sight.

They have reason to complain about such cartoons because according to Islam, they are morally wrong. But some of them are led to believe it's okay to riot against the laws of their own countries, which is wrong. Don't think that all Muslims are knowledgeable of their religion. Some of them are misled into the mob effect. Some of them are just like yourselves - free from religion and independent.
 
Every religions are similiar, but most cultures are different that we can't do anthing. Just respects.

Yes, many religions are similar, offering different paths to the same God (or is it?). However culture contrasts with religion and should be taken into consideration whenever we read the news.

Well, much of my family have gone to Israel. I've only been to most of Western and Eastern Europe, including the far end Russia. I've seen a lot of various cultures and they are all delightful in their own way. :)

I am second to Reba! Koran is out of context and goes too far from this. Koran teaches muslims who wants to go heaven must be suicide with bomb to kill AMERICANS, Christians and Jews including Israel. That is too murder way by Koran's teaching. That is so much WRONG to teach them to hurt us!

Jews are more likely scared of Muslims who can threathen to bomb them. Jews are avoiding them most of time. Jews can't trust Muslim people. Why ?? Muslim's islamic teaching have no heart to love anyone as we do love people withouth hurting! What a shameful on Koran's teaching and brainwashing Arab people. What a sad! We Christian never do that to anyone!

The second link is about the Nation of Islam, a political/religious/social organization established by Black Americans in 1930. I don't really know why you linked that because it has nothing to do with the topic but OK, I read it. Most people in the U.S. are familiar with that group.

I am myself jewish and can't trust any muslim people around except deaf arabs who are very friendly - that is fine.

I feel unsecure around muslim people who can threathen us anywhere after 9/11 This is not safe for any jews to be around muslim people.
