Has anyone ever made homemade crafts? If so care to explain what it is or maybe show us a picture of your crafts.. Care to tell us how to make it? I've done WoodCutting crafts and I will post a picture on here for ya'll to see. Im planning on doing more. Anyone know how to make homemade candles? If so would you care to explain to me how to make it... I would love to try it out sometime...

I have done alot of crafts in the past, but haven't had the time to do it lately.....I will be happy to post some pictures up to show some of the things that I have made, but I don't want to brag about it or anything...and I don't have a scanner either that's another problem for me sorry
 
what kind of crafts have you done? You don't have to take a picture of it if you don't have a scanner. Just tell us what it is and how you made it... Etc....

Here is my woodcutting... Scroll Saw...... messed up on the corner but its good for now.. I need to practice more on scroll saw cutting. Enjoy

I made many crafts (quilting, crochet, silk flower arrangment, cross stitches, scrapbooks and candles.
 
I used to paint rock with last name for Christmas gifts. They loved it.

Well we used to make many crafts, not now for awhile. My husband used to make African drums. I used to grow gourds and made them into bowl and shaker.

I remember that my friend who taught me about how make candles. She put soy waxes in hot pot. I cannot remember how much. I picked one color from canyon colors. Put one color canyon in same pot. if you want dark color and add other one. Get any clear jars or nice glasses. Use penical to hold the wink. put penical on jar's top and let wink inside. Wink is for burner. Put any scent oil in hot pot. stir waxes then pour in nice glasses and leave them about 30 to one hour to cool off. then remove the penical off

Do you have digital camera? If yes, then connect to computer with digtial camera..., Scanner is not need.

My glass of scanner is broke... I can´t scan postcards... :( For digital camera, you do not need scanner... just connect to computer.

No, it´s not brag but proud what you are... I like to see what you made.... What´s American crafts alike... :fingersx:


I have many crafts, restoration, etc... I have post some of my crafts, crochets in threads somewhere here... I will post when I find them...
 
Tons of homemade crafts working and pictures... buried in the boxes due prepare moving into new home...

Homemade wedding crafts for my customer who ordered... and also other customer's Christmas' theme wedding too.. Plenty time for me to finish it up... Dec 16 06 and July 7 07

My past own business run... 1992 to 1996 as self employed.

After October 2nd or 3rd... will post pictures of my homemade crafts..
I can't promise if it is on time extact of date for post pictures.. due might be busy unloading the stuffs and also hook up the internet... :D

Wow that's beautiful, can you do an angel?...


I do many things such as painting pots, crafting weaths, flowering/planting into baskets, pots, etc....I want to learn how to do quilt but don't know how to use my brand new sewing machine yet LOL...I used to paint alot in the past but don't seem to have time doing it anymore, working and kids intend to keep me busy

I also wanted to learn how to sew clothes, and etc too....so that's on my next list ..Soon I'll be working with a friend of mine from AD, and my step mom doing crafts for the wedding next year, so I'm excite and love to learn some new things too....

Thanks, Yes I can do a angel with the scroll saw. I would like to do a quilt also but don't got a sewing machine LOL.... I honestly don't know how to sew either but my mother's best friend who does these things for a living.. She is very good at this kind of project. It's almost like you brought it at the store, thats how amazing she is.. I prolly won't be as great as she is but hopefully as time goes on I might be as good as her.. LOL. The woodcutting, its hard but its fun though. I got more cutting, one of the cutting is a face of my German Shepard dog.. and a sign of his name ( German Dog name is Bruce) It takes a lot of practice. My step father does this also... My mother is learning. it's gives us something to do!! Im wanting to do homemade candles but can't seem to find out how to make it.. I want to try to get them colorful Wax Chunks and make it smell awesome. A few of my friends already said if I made it and it turns out great then apparently they are going to buy it from me, Its doesn't a lot camparing to them candles at Yankee or wally world.. Im not greedy... I just do this for fun... I hope I can become good at this maybe one day later in the future I can open my business if it works out.. But I don't keep my hopes up.. This is what I do in my spare time. But I hope you will learn how to make the things you want to make, and share with us.. Good luck on it...

I don't know. I never really feel what I did are called "crafts". they are "art" to me. :)

I do make some woodcuts as well-- to print off them like stamp. I did knit hats, scarfs, etc... but is that called craft? Not really...

I don't make fake flowers... I do sew a lot. I made my own loveseat and armchair cover...
hmm... what else are considered as "crafts"
 
wow ur really good at woodcraving. Its very big talents.

Actually I love into crafts stuff. I usually do crafts for wedding (bonquets, hairpieces, tasselss, chairs, tables) Also decortes on wall.. I haven't been done it for few years since kids keep me busy here.

I used to work at floral job, and i been doing alots with silk flowers crafts things and real florals for arrangement of funeral, birthdays, special day, mother days, new baby, etc. I loved it.

umm craft and art is the same thing.... But if you want to considered it different then its good...
 
I make it about 5 years ago!!

I painted on doll faces and its body, and chose the wigs, and making the dresses to suit my taste, and replica of my daughter's faces eg a brown freckle on above her lips as trademark!! :giggle:

I also making mohair teddy bears and golliwogs as my daughter was avid collector of golliwogs - now she is sick of it - oh well.

I still making teddy bears when I am hit on the road or long distance plane.

I like crochets - afghan blankets, and cross stitches. I will be back to post a picture of Amish cross stitches, and sampler cross stitches as I haven't practise it for years.

I make some royal icing christening/engagement cake as I could not remember where I put my photos in to show you!
