Deaf dating sites?

Hi,

Are there any dating sites based for deaf/hard-of-hearing people? I saw a few comments suggesting Facebook groups was a place to meet people though it's mainly a much older crowd on those sites (40+)

If there isn't, why isn't there? is that for a reason? Perhaps there's not enough interest to run a site specifically for hard-of-hearing/deaf people?

What do others think?

Kind sir, your thread title has a major typo.
 
I think there would be very little interests in "dead" dating groups.
 
She wont talk to me, just lays there like a dead fish.... Never understood dating dead people.
 
I'm fairly sure a LOT of people noticed the typo (me included). There is no 'knack' for catching common spelling mistakes.

DeafMatch.com is the only one I know of- no idea if it is still active or not- haven't visited it in many years.
 
Yeah I noticed the typo the minute he put it up and didn't mention it.

The other dating site I know of is MeetDeafSingles.com. They have deaf chatroom. Usually there's around 5-10 people in it. Not much.
 
I think you'd have to blind or stupid not to notice the typo. Just saying.

But no, I have no idea. I've never joined any dating sites. I may soon, probably not a deaf one though.

So that leaves- 'not the brightest crayon in the box'

Oh I remember seeing MeetDeafSingles somewhere before. I think there is another site maybe, geared to deaf LGBT as well...

Yes, yes. Another visually impaired person who noticed.

But I thought it was a good idea to come in and make a smart remark.....
 
Quite right.

I'm glad Mark pointed it out though. Did us a huge favor. We probably would have thought the guy was asking about a dating site for zombies and vampires. Luckily someone has "the knack". Phew
 
For future reference related to fixing typos, here's how:

Go to the box that says "Go Advanced" (After clicking "Edit"), and click on the mistake you want to fix. It's that easy. Box is right below.

I can't resist the humor of the thread title typo - Dead Dating? I didn't know there's a dating game after death! Noooooooo.......nooooo.....nooooo.....look, is there even a kiss of death right there? :P
