I bought Xbox One last month because of want play Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3. I don't think Dead Rising 3 will ported to PC and they are closer to meet Capcom's sale expectation by March. I already retired from Xbox 360 about year ago and I found that having Xbox One is worth for me to keep because of upcoming games like Forza Horizon 2, Crackdown 3, Fable Legends, next Gears of War and several other games. Nice feature in Xbox One is TV input support that allow you to hook STB to Xbox One so you don't have to change the TV source.

Pros:
- TV input support
- Great redesigned controller
- Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, NFL
- Free Fitness for Xbox Live Gold Membership
- Great graphic - very similar to PS4
- Good exclusive games - Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3
- Modernized OS
- x86-64 CPU

Cons:
- Sluggish over time in OS, apps and games
- Kinect's hand gesture issue
- Kinect isn't very deaf friendly
- Longer installation
- custom CC isn't work for DVD movies
- No storage management
- No option that ability to log in profile automatically, unlike Xbox 360 did
- Sometime, TV support can be messy
- Streaming load time, possibly networking issue need be fixed, or can be bad written apps

Any questions.

Kinect isn't very deaf friendly like what?

- They don't support ASL.
- Require voice command to take control of OS
- Annoying hand gesture or unusual voice could drive OS with unwanted changes.

Is the text messaging system any better than what was on the 360? I had the chatpad and you could only have a little pop-up window at the bottom of the screen (similar to PC games) if you were using it for MSN! For talking to other Xbox players you had to bring up the guide, and type there, which took forever and couldn't really be done mid-game.

No, it is same - you have to use guide to access to message. :(

You can use message via Xbox app on iPhone but I recommended to use iPhone iMessage or text - better due to landscape.

I bought XBOX one because I wanted to play the new Killer Instinct... :D

You are right about the graphics but the HD quality ps4 is full 1080p while Xbox one running on 720p. I played fronts 5 at Microsoft store. The tv they use is samsung. I like the controller design but not the vibration. It vibrated like hell lol. The game I like most into is nba and racing. I heard nba 2k14 having issues on Xbox one. I saw many commenters complained to 2k to get the server fixed for X1. My ps4 nba 2k14 has been doing good so far. I will get Xbox one if they get the games to run on 1080p. I understand they wanted to use more memory ram on kinect and other which is why they force the game dele loopers to run the games in 720p so it can show full graphics with the use of remaining memory ram.

Some Xbox One games run in 1080p like Forza 5, NFS Rivals and Ryse are three of them.

Dead Rising 3 only run in 720p due to different engine or programming. The game developers have to sacrifice the resolution to get 60 fps, but if game can't run in 30 fps with 1080p so they will sacrifice the resolution.

I think it has something with lower shader (Xbox One has lower shader than PS4) and use DDR3 for RAM/VRAM with eSRAM, however they have faster CPU speed than PS4.

PC outperforms Xbox One and PS4 by really far.

Oh ok got it. I understand clear. Yeah when I tried forza 5 at the mall the quality doesn't look good. I guess they hook them up wrong? My ps4 games run on 51 fps on games with 1080p. It still looks good. When I turn smooth motion flow on my tv. It made my ps4 looking very sexy lol. Maybe if I get Xbox one I might be able make the quality look good on my tv. I wish I can't rent Xbox one console or borrow from someone to see how it does on my tv.

What brand and size of TV do you own? 1080p with 120/240/480?

I have 42" Vizio 1080p HDTV with 120 Hz.

The picture quality is great but build quality is cheaper.

Internet TV built-in is worthless now because of outdated apps and rarely updated.

Some HDTV have really poor picture quality that make gaming experience so dull.

I am not using internet on my tv lol. My tv is great with motion flow with any devies I hooked up to tv.

My netflix app on my tv wasn't good and they wouldn't allow me to turn on motion flow. Netflix on my ps4 was amazing! My tv allow me to use motion flow on ps4 made it look super perfect.

I am sure Xbox one will look good on my tv. I might get x1 next year.
