Felony charges filed in Utah rock formation destruction

Its not like he toppled Washington monument which I could agree as a serious felony, that is because Washington monument is wide recognized structure as opposed to this so called rock.

What if its just two blades of grass? I would be depriving all visitors to the park of those two blades of grass if I plucked them and put them in my pocket.

I read your article several times and couldn't find any quotes about his uncle, so please could you check the source.

I'm not stupid if you are trying to fool me, also as college student, I read textbooks on regular basis, so I read article very carefully and can't find any quotes.

Check with park ranger or park guide, so you will get better answer from them.

For common grass, it is not my concern, though.

If it is small rocks, more common, so it is possible.

For big rock like one in two ex-scouts' case, so it is not possible.

What those two guys did was not a felony. It was stupid, they should be made to pay a fine.

Someone, somewhere, is saying "respect mah authoritah!!" and just pushing their weight around is all ...

Not possible? :hmm: how many places you see house with large rock in front yard that appears that the rock was from somewhere else? I have seen, aren't they stolen?

Utah files felony charge against

DHB's source was NY Daily News (none mentions about uncle).

Hall's uncle incident is still inexcusable for Hall's behavior over rock in Utah state park, also it wasn't accident.

What kind of a rock were you thinking of taking home? If it is a small rock close to a pebble rock and not red at all. Just a regular rock, not red. There are different kind of rocks whether they have different colors. But the formation of the red rocks are very special and not to be fool around with. Just admire the red formation of the big rock like the boulder that was connected to the landscape of the rock. Pebbles, you can take them home and cherish them. :)

The rare rocks from national parks or state parks? I doubt without permission from authorities or paid from third party.

For common rocks, it is very possible.

It is not my thing to take big rocks from national or state park, so this thread is about two idiots vandalized the state park, so it isn't about take rock from park. :confused:
