I don't know much about fist fighting or MMA fighting. Probably the women jurors don't either. Maybe one of the lawyers can present an animation to show what happened. I would like to get a better idea of the altercation itself.

it's not just the hair. it's the skin and fluid. human is constantly shedding skin every second. that's how a sniffing dog can easily find'em.

plus - Zimmerman testified that Trayvon covered his mouth to prevent him from screaming.

That is right and you would think there would be DNA from Zimmerman under Martin fingernails if he smashed Zimmerman 's head repeatedly . Zimmerman could fallen on the concrete as the cuts where not deep at all and did not need be to sewed up. There was case that happen a in town not far me and a guy head was smashed on the sidewalk and the guy was badly hurt and in the hospital was head trauma.

Not fishy in the least. DNA evidence from fingernails is associated with defensive tactics. :lol: Not too many attackers scratch ad tickle.

that would be incorrect. in any case of physical altercation - people are grabbing something.

You must be thinking of "defensive wound".... not defensive tactic.

Nope. Scratching or claw is generally considered a defensive tactic.....at least for humans. :giggle: Not exclusively of course.

Given that in cases of homicide the actions of the deceased during the incident are usually not fully known we recommend the mandatory collection of fingernails from all deceased, regardless of the scenes that they are found in, including submersion in water.
