Zimmerman attorneys say Trayvon Martin was on drugs

I call it manslaughter because there was no premeditation involved.

I disagree with you. I do not know any person that would take a gun to run an errand , I feel Zimmerman was planning to use his gun the moment he left his home. He got out of his car with his gun to look for Trayvon . This was premeditation .

No, it just sounds like frustrated whining.

He didn't say, "It looks like I need to take care of these a**holes all by myself."

He didn't say, "I'm going to take care of this a**hole myself, and he'll never get away alive."

You see, he didn't mention taking any kind of action. He was just stating his frustration with previous outcomes.

And there it is! You said it, Zimmerman was frustrate about previous outcomes so this time he bring his gun and stalk a teenage boy then get out of his car with his gun after the cops told Zimmerman NOT to follow the kid.
Zimmerman actions speak louder than words!

Unless he got confused about where he left the car. Or was watching carefully as he walked back. Or 100 other different explanations.

Claim.....I think you mean claim. That would be almost a Dardenian mistake.

confused where he left the car? uh-oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that would give the prosecutor a huge ammunition to interpret his state of mind as confused, misjudged, misunderstood, etc.

Nope, happens all the time. Obviously his focus would be on the person he was observing. But that is only one of many explanations they could give. It is a no win argument for the prosecution. It opens them to a "doubt statement"

I don't believe he stalked anyone. He was observing someone he thought was acting suspiciously. IF Trayvon had smoked pot before going out he very well may have been acting suspiciously.

that's just silly and comically far-fetched.

I would even carry a gun just for a simple errand run. anything can happen like getting mugged or carjacked. Zimmerman, like any law-abiding citizen, has a right to carry a gun - anywhere (almost), anytime.

The problem in here is his judgment. He chose to get out of his car. He chose to pursue him. Both choices were completely unnecessary. Your right to armed self-defense aka Stand Your Ground is automatically voided by intentionally putting yourself in a hostile situation. That's vigilantism. Charles Bronson movie - Death Wish.

correct. it's quite silly to think he went out with a plan to prowl around to look for a reason to use his gun.

According to autopsy report, the medical examiner stated that it was a trace amount. but even if Trayvon did smoke pot before going out, it changes nothing because it would be illegal for Zimmerman to put himself in danger since he was armed.

Zimmerman stated to medics that he was taking Temazepam to treat anxiety or insomnia, and librax. and a medical report states that he's also taking Adderall. As I've already explained before, both medications have side effects such as anxiety, insomnia, delusion, etc. and that may very well contribute to Zimmerman's misinterpretation of what he saw and a decision to put himself in danger.

Illegal to put yourself in "danger"?

Not sure observing someone is "putting yourself in danger"

The report I saw on TV yesterday said the amount found was consistent with use in the last 2 hours. :dunno:

I lived in Boston in the 60'and 70's I had two Black friends that got attacked just for being Black so I stand by what I said about Zimmerman. Did Zimmerman give any reason for getting out his car?

If anyone was acting suspicious it sure would had been Zimmerman with all the drugs he was taking. I strongly believe Zimmerman was looking for someone to beat up or shoot. Why else would he had gotten out his car with his gun? I know he had the right to have his gun , but once he got out of his car he was looking for trouble.

Malice aforethought.....mens rea.......discovery of those is going to be tough so the prosecution's probably gonna have a purely circumstantial case.....if I recall the events and my recollection these days could be said to be iffy.....

Wrong! Still jumping to conclusions? Charles MURDERED the criminals everytime he saw them commiting a crime (no self-defense involved). GZ was not like that. Oh, please.

so his comment "these assholes they always get away" doesn't concern you?

that's not what he did. he put himself in danger by pursuing him.

must be a couple of puff. probably equivalent to having 1-2 beers in the last 2 hours.

:dunno: convenience store surveillance video showed Trayvon having difficulty with balance.

a couple of "puffs" just makes you giddy and silly...I knew this pot head that smoked pot everyday...and he also had 2 accidents in one day.
